McKay & Carlee | Engagement Session - April 22, 2008

McKay is a good friend of ours. We were so excited to hear about his engagement, and the opportunity to photograph his wedding. Carlee is such a perfect fit for McKay. The two of them make an incredible couple- we couldn’t be any happier for the two of them! We are looking forward to their wedding in June up in Rexburg, Idaho. The same weekend these engagement photos were taken, we also took Carlee’s bridals. WOW! What a knock-out! I am really excited to post those pictures too. Anway, for this photo session, we stayed close to our house, in Draper, and just had fun finding random places to shoot at. I love the look of these engagements and from the pictures you can tell how amazing they are together. Enjoy!!

Jason + Janey = Signed & Sealed! - April 17, 2008

I am not even sure where to start with this one, I think that I could go on forever about Jason & Janey. They would have to be two of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They are simply fabulous. I feel so honored that I was able to capture their wedding day for them. They had a perfect day for their wedding in Manti. They both looked completely stunning and have looks that could kill!!

Their reception took place at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in downtown Salt Lake City. It was amazing! The decor was super elegant, as you walked in you were treated to the sound of live music. It could not have been better. One of my favorite parts about receptions are the toasts! In the short time that I have know Jason & Janey I could not have agreed more with what was said. I left their wedding wanting to be a better person and to strive for more. It was so wonderful, and I am beyond excited to be able to present them their images from March 22nd.

Once again, thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your wedding day, I will forever be a better person due to your wedding!

Enjoy your images!

Nicole’s Bridal Session - April 10, 2008

It was so much fun to work with Nicole on her bridal session. We headed over to the Hotel Monaco for it and then ventured outside for a little bit. She looked fantastic and was getting compliments left and right at the hotel. I love how the images turned out and I can’t wait to photograph her wedding in May at the Tuscany.

Thanks for such an wonderful session!

Erin & Mitchell… Engagements - April 08, 2008

I love to photograph engagement sessions. It allows me to really get to know each of the couples that let me into their lives on their wedding day.  Each of the couples that I photograph as so unique and fun to be with. Erin and Mitchell are the best. They have amazing personalities and you can’t help to want to be around them. I can’t thank them enough for letting me drag them all over downtown for their session. We had a blast and I just know that they will love these.

A Cereal Story. - March 30, 2008

Kaylin and I went to Harmon’s late at night the other day, we were walking straight to the freezer section to get some frozen orange juice to make an orange julius that we were both randomly craving. Slowly both our eyes drifted down an isle stocked with the a great array of cereal. We quickly realized we were going to be spending more than $1.99 for frozen concentrate. As we strolled down the cereal isle, I spotted my two favorite cereals: Fruity Pebbles and Honey Nut Clusters!
I could not believe it. They were both on sale. It was if the heavens opened up felt the need to grant cereal blessings! I quickly snagged 2 boxes of each, just then I heard a voice in my head saying, “ what am I thinking? I don’t need 4 boxes, or fruity pebbles.” Shaking my head to remove the voice I heard it again, I then realized it was not in my head but my wife near my shoulder. The big smile on my face, slowly dropped into a frown. Trying to conjour up all the debate skills I could I realized they would not even help on this one. I quickly thought how I could come out with the most and I abandoned the Fruity Pebbles and tried to explain how “healthy” the Honey Nut Clusters are. A few long seconds later I come out victorious!!!!

For anyone that does not know HONEY NUT CLUSTERS are the BOMB! They are so sweet and have the perfect amount of crunch without hurting your teeth.  Since I am good at sharing, Easton has decided he feels the same way toward this cereal as I do. So much so that he has figured out how to be a “big boy” and feed himself a bowl! No more waiting around for mom and dad anymore. I of course had to document my proud parent moment this morning!

Enjoy the pictures and then go get a box or two for yourself. You won’t be disappointed! (Did you like the dramatization? I thought it was funny!)
