Oh Easton… - August 26, 2008

Wow.... I can’t believe how big the little guy is. He has grown so much and is starting to do so much stuff. He can ride a bike and swim! He is a little daredevil on his bike. He rode down stairs, didn’t even crash (what an animal)!

Kaylin and I were doing a personal project and we took a few pictures of little Easton in the process. So I just had to share.

Artist Portfolio Shots - August 23, 2008

The other day Kaylin came home from school after a girl she knows asked her if she could practice some makeup artistry on her. If any of you know my wife, you know she would never pass up an opportunity like that! So here comes Kaylin, home about 10 min before we had to leave to meet with Liz from Ruk Creative to go over the final details of my NEW business cards. So I hurried, pulled open the blinds, sat Kaylin down and and shot everything I needed to in about 5 min.  These go to show you that you don’t have to have an amazing place or background to get sweet images. I hope these images will be great for the makeup artist’s portfolio.

But I’ll let you be the judge… enjoy!

Eric + Katrina | Wedding Day - August 19, 2008

Well first off things have been kinda nuts. With the wedding session slowing down I should be posting way more now. So make sure to check back often and add the blog to your RSS feed.

To the wedding!

Eric and Katrina had an amazing wedding at the Grand America Hotel. It was so decked out with amazing flowers from ROOTS and the atmosphere was breath taking!

The two of them looked stunning. Katrina was a knock out in here Monique Lhuillier designer dress. It is astonishing.  Eric was sporting the traditional tux and looked quite dapper!

Josh and Katie | Bridals Session - August 06, 2008

I am so excited to shoot Josh and Katie’s wedding in Newport Beach, CA this September!  They were wanting something fun, different, and outdoors, so we headed up a local canyon here in Utah. We only had about 20 minutes of shooting time as we were told the wrong direction at the Pay Station. We did the best we could and rocked it out of this world. The two of them are do great together and a blast to be around!

I hope you two love em.

Tj and Annaliese | Wedding Day - August 03, 2008

TJ and Annaliese amazing! They have such cool personalities and are super outgoing. Everything from their engagement session downtown to Annaliese’s Bridal session at Saltair.  I have super happy for the two of them. They sealed their marriage in the Bountiful, Utah Temple and had there reception at Cactus and Tropicals in Draper. It was such a fun evening. 

Thanks for allowing me to capture this amazing time in your life!

Zac + Anja | Wedding Day - July 29, 2008

Zac & Anja have been two of the best clients I have ever had. It has been so much fun getting to know the two of them. They are such a great couple and some of the nicest people ever. I thought their wedding day was never going to come. They booked me way back at the beginning of the year and I have been looking forward to their wedding the entire time. The two of them looked smashing and I could not be happier for them. I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to be apart of their amazing day.

Easton | Swimming! - July 18, 2008

So Kaylin has been taking little Easton swimming just about every other day it seems like lately. Sadly, I have been so busy that I have not been able to come, until now.  The other day we headed to the pool and along came the camera. Kaylin has been telling me how much of a dare devil he is, I had to see it and it’s true. My little guy will get a running start and jump in the pool, proceed to go totally under water, brings himself to the top and swim to the stairs just to do it all over again. We don’t even have to touch him. It amazes me how fast he is able to learn, he is only 2 and can swim, I think I was like 10 before I could.  Anyway both Kaylin and I shot these… so enjoy!

Mckay and Carlee | Wedding Day - July 16, 2008

Well I headed up to Rexburg, ID to capture McKay and Carlee’s great wedding. It was such a pleasure to be apart of their day, especially since I have known McKay for about as long as I can remember. I am so happy for the two of them. They make an amazing couple and compliment each other so well. Congrats McKay and Carlee and thank you for allowing me to be apart of your wonderful day.
